Recently a friend of mine started his own record label, and with it came a lot of different positions he needed to fill - one of which was for Art designers and Street teams. A street team is used as a free or almost free way to "hire" on people to go across different neighborhoods and post various types if materials to promote an artist. These materials can be newsletters, signs, posters, photos, etc. The point is to GET those out everywhere you can and to really promote the Artist at hand. However, before the street team starts handing stuff out, the Art department needs to make these posters and signs.

You can do this yourself, but I can assure you it doesn't matter if you have all the Art Degrees in the world, poster printing is not everyone's forte! Instead of giving the poster printing job to his Art department, he had them draw out the designs and then he sent them off to a poster printing company. A superior way to get the materials you need at a quality you want.

You can choose to print posters, banner printing, canvas printing (great for photographers!), sign printing and even large format printing - another goodie for BIG posters and photographers that want to print out large photographic prints. After all is said and done, you get the quality picture or design that your Art department created, but you also get a stunning print as well!
